A couple of months after he signed for PSG, Gianluigi Donnarumma is back in Milan, city where he played until this summer.
The Italian goalkeeper was offered a new AC Milan contract many times, but he chose to join PSG's 'dream team'.
The goalkeeper left the club that developed him and established him in professional football. His performances at San Siro earned him a spot in the Italian national team and to become one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.
Donnarumma confirmed that, despite his signing for the French side, he will always be an AC Milan fan. However, the 'Curva Sud', Milan's most iconic fan base, gave him a hostile welcome back, hanging a banner from a bridge that reads. "You will never be welcome in Milan".
The goalkeeper will be back at San Siro to play the Nations League semi-final with Italy against Spain.
