Donnarumma saved Italy from being thrashed, says Alvaro Morata

Spanish captain Alvaro Morata celebrated the win against Italy and their place in the last 16 as Group B winners after two games, and said that "the result" should have been "bigger", but pointed out that their opponents had "one of the best goalkeepers in the world".
"Once again I want to thank the people who came, it was incredible, I hope they continue to come and support us like this because we really felt it. We're happy because we played a great game against a great team that didn't have any chances to hurt us. It could have been a bigger result, but they have one of the best goalkeepers in the world. We're happy with the win and the chances we had will go in," he said on 'TVE'.
Morata regretted the lack of accuracy in fornt of goal, but he took all the positives from the great image left by the Spanish national team.
"It's three points and we're through to the next round. Before the European Championship we would have signed it. We are quite demanding, we had clear chances, but their goalkeeper made incredible saves. We are a great team, we suffocate our opponents up front and make it difficult to play against us," he said.
"We watch all the games, there are some very good teams too, but we want to be protagonists, we want to get it into our heads that we can compete against all of them and that's what we're going to do. We're already thinking about Albania because you can't switch off in any game at a European Championship and we've got five games left," he said.
