Digne arrived for €20m from Barca and will go for 30 million to Aston Villa

Lucas Digne wanted to leave Everton. This was confirmed by Rafa Benitez in a press conference. He believed it was time to grow away from the Toffee side.

Gerrard reached out to him. Aston Villa volunteered to take in the Frenchman and it looks like that will finally be his destination. The prestigious media 'BBC' assures that there is already an agreement between the parties for his transfer.

Aston Villa have agreed to pay the Toffees around 29.9 million euros for the left-back. However, neither club has made it official yet.

An absolutely rounded deal for Everton, who signed Digne in the summer of 2018 for 20 million euros from Barcelona. If they manage to sell him, they will get 10 million more than the price for which they bought him.

It will undoubtedly be another opportunity for Lucas Digne, who has played 15 games so far this season, starting 14 of them. He was not comfortable and hopes that will change at his new club, Aston Villa. And who better than a star like Gerrard to accompany him in this interesting challenge.
