Edu Aguirre, journalist for 'Chiringuito de Jugones', asked Ronaldo what message he had for the Real Madrid fans, saying: "There are thousands of happy Juventus fans today, but there are also a lot of crying Real Madrid fans. What message does Cristiano Ronaldo have for Real Madrid fans?"
With a smile on his face, Ronaldo replied with what many have taken to be a dig at fans of 'Los Blancos'.
"Well, I don't think they're crying," he insisted.
"Like I've said before, I had a brilliant time with Real Madrid. It was a club that helped me with everything, but this is a new chapter in my career.
"Thanks to all the fans who have helped me to be what I am today, but that's over now. This is the next chapter for me and I'm very happy," he continued.

"It's seems like I'm starting my career again, I've very motivated and very focused on showing the Italians that I'm a top player. I hope things go well, obviously I'm going to prepare myself well.
I don't think I have to prove anything to anyone because the numbers don't lie, but I'm ambitious. I'm someone who likes a challenge, I don't like being in my comfort zone.
"After making history in Manchester and at Real Madrid, I also want to make history at Juventus. I like being challenged, I'm never happy. I hope things go well, a bit of lucks helps but you make your own luck, that's why I'm certain that things will work out well."
