Di Maria back in Barca's sights

'Paris Fans', an online platform that specialises in news regarding the Parisian side, reports that Barca and PSG have reopened talks over a move for the player, having previously discussed a deal in the summer.
They claim that Barca have returned to the negotiating table to offer the same package as they did previously: €45m up-front, with a further €15m in add-ons.
It is thought that the two clubs have been in negotiations for several weeks at this point, with PSG now prepared to sell the player.
Despite still being seriously intetrested in a move for Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho, Barca are thought to have been issued with yet another hands-off warning and have thus switched their sights to Di Maria, who counts Barca star Lionel Messi amongst his many admirers.
Di Maria is seen as the idea signing for the Catalan side in January, with his age and experience providing an alternative to the talented but raw Ousmane Dembele, whilst his versatility would also give Ernesto Valverde a variety of ways in which he could shape the Barca attack.
Sources in Paris claim that talks are progressing well and that Di Maria could finally make his move to the Camp Nou in the New Year.
