Deulofeu went off limping and in tears

Spanish striker Gerard Deulofeu had to leave the field of play at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium after suffering an injury to his left knee in the 25th minute of the match which his team is playing against Napoli. 

The attacker left the field of play helped by the team's doctors with tears in his eyes and limping noticeably. He was applayed by the Napoli fans. The Napoli doctor also went to show concern for the footballer who has been operated on in the past after tearing ligaments in his right knee. 

Gerard Deulofeu, one of the standout players for his team, was replaced by Isaac Success. The extent of the injury is still not known, but 'Relevo' says that initial tests ruled out damage to the cruciate ligament.

Good news for the former Barcelona man who suffered a major scare in the match against Serie A leaders Napoli. Udinese, after goals from Nestorovski and Samardzic, very nearly took something away from the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
