Dembele reportedly declined Tuchel's offer

While FC Barcelona is looking for the formula to take Neymar back to the Catalan city, Paris Saint Germain also explores the different alternatives with which to alleviate the departure of its megastar, who at one point was meant to be the foundation for PSG's huge success. 

Now, Barcelona, a team which apparently finds itself without the necessary funds to afford the Brazilian, has put several of their players on the table as bargaining chips for the Parc Des Princes board to chose from, in order to reach an agreement through the exchange of players and avoiding spending money they don't have. 

Under this context, according to the French newspaper, FC Barcelona offered Philippe Coutinho as the main exchange currency, also adding the possibility of choosing Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic or Malcom to finish squaring off for Neymar Jr's return to the Camp Nou.

Far from putting the name of Ousmane Dembélé on the table, Josep María Bartomeu has publicly insisted on his claim that the Frenchman is better than Brazilian. A message with which seems intended to warn Thomas Tuchel, the former Dortmund coach who already worked with Dembele, that the World Cup Winner is non-transferable. 

However, Thomas Tuchel did not hesitate to telephone Ousmane Dembele a few days ago. According to 'Le Parisien', the German coach tried to convince the Frenchman, hinting at a future without protagonism with the arrival of Antoine Griezmann and the possible return of Neymar Jr.

The 22-year-old winger rejected Tuchel's proposal and advanced his return to training, emphasising his desire to triumph at FC Barcelona, despite the fact that his first two seasons at the Camp Nou have been hampered by long-term injuries.
