Sunday's morning session was planned as a combination of a recovery session for those who started the win over Catalan rivals Espanyol on Saturday and the start of preparation for the champions League clash with Tottenham on Tuesday, but according to 'Rac 1', Dembele only turned up at 13:00, some two hours after the session was due to start.
The winger was quick to speak to members of the Barca coaching staff to apologise for his tardiness and wound up training on his own as a way of showing his remorse.
It isn't the first time that the France star has failed to turn up at the same time as his team-mates, having skipped training several weeks ago, an act that left club staff searching for him for five hours.
There was also one occasion where Dembele arrived late for a team meeting and another where he skipped training complaining of gastroenteritis, only explaining his absence an hour and a half after the session began.
His lack of discipline has already cost Dembele valuable time on the pitch, with the youngster having also been left out of the squad completely on more than one occasion as a result of his actions. It had appeared that such problems were in the past, but this latest incident is likely to leave Barca hugely worried about what their next step is with the 21-year-old.
Dembele shone in the win over Espanyol, scoring Barca's second with a stunner, before laying on fellow forward Luis Suarez for his side's third just before the break.
