The 'Bhoys' have not had a great start to the season, faltering in the league and losing 3-1 in theoir last Europa League match against RB Salzburg.
The main problem they have had so far is putting the ball in the back of the net, something they have excelled at in recent seasons.
Brendan Rodgers's side have scored just seven goals so far this season in the league, even though striker Odsonne Edouard is only just now returning from injury.
Many have suggested that the loss of Moussa Dembele to Lyon on transfer deadline day is the reason for this, with Dembele having already scored three time in his first five games for his new side.
Speaking about the lack of goals, the manager said: "When you lose the players that we have then of course it will make a difference.
"It is not just Moussa, there is a collective - there is Stuart Armstrong's goals and his running ability and we had Paddy Roberts leaving as well. But we have to continue to work. The players that are here work tirelessly every day and put a lot into it. We have to look to find the answers.
"There are probably a number of reasons. We've struggled a little to create opportunities and the speed of our game has something to do with that - we need to play with a higher tempo and we need to move the ball forward more."
"We're working very hard to find the solutions."
