Having only joined FC Porto in the summer, young defender Eder Militao could be on the move once again in January, with a number of Premier League giants monitoring his performances.
Chelsea have now joined the list of clubs said to be admiring the young centre half, but they will face competition from both Manchester clubs, Everton and Juventus should they try to sign him.
Militao moved to Europe with FC Porto, after having been earmarked and then overlooked by Premier League champions Manchester City.
One factor in Chelsea's favour in the race for the youngster's signature, is that he shares representation with current blues stars David Luiz and Willian.
Porto would expect to make a hefty profit should they be forced to sell. They paid £7.2million for the player in August, and will want to drive a hard bargain, as Militao's boyhood club Sao Paulo are also due 10% of any sell on fee.
Militao has played 12 games this season, scoring once in Porto's 3-1 Champions League victory over Schalke.
