Despite still being alive in the main competitions, Liverpool have had a somewhat irregular start of the season, with different punctures which make the Premier League more open than ever after what was seen in the last few years.
This has led to transfer rumours at Anfield, and although Jürgen Klopp thinks that it will be difficult for a big signing to arrive in January, various names are strongly linked to strengthen the Anfield outfit for the second part of the season.
One of the latest to come to the fore has been Rodrigo de Paul, current Udinese player. According to 'The Sun', the Argentine midfielder is very much to the taste of the German manager, who would look very favourably on his possible arrival.
The aforementioned media outlet indicates that De Paul is liked a lot by the Liverpool coaching staff due to his great quality, and especially his great physical display, something fundamental to fit in the electric style of play of the reigning Premier League champions.
However, Liverpool will have to fight hard if they want to secure his services, as other clubs such as Leeds United (managed by the Argentine Marcelo Bielsa) and Inter Milan also have De Paul on their list of priorities.
