Things are changing in the Barcelona camp. For a year now, the Spanish side has wanted to sign Griezmann, but now he will have to wait in line.
The priority, according to 'AS', is the arrival of De Ligt. Barcelona want to bolster their defence and have been working for a while on the possible signing of the Ajax man.
Barcelona have already sealed the deal with De Jong, one of De Ligt's teammates from Ajax. And it seems as though they are not forgetting about their other Dutch target.
So, De Ligt's name looks to be marked in red on Barca's agenda. Griezmann will have to wait...
'AS' has said that the fact that Griezmann had said no to the Catalan club last summer, has caused disappointment. Now they are not so sure of his arrival at the Camp Nou as they were last summer.
This is not the only thing that has caused doubt surrounding Griezmann's signing. His salary is another big factor. At Atletico, Griezmann earns 23 million euros per season, a figure which Barcelona are not prepared to offer him.
Antoine Griezmann is no longer one of Barcelona's priorities, according to 'AS'. A year ago he made the decision that he would not feel right at the Catalan club and, now, other footballers have taken his place as top priority on the right.
The favoured forward to reinforce Barca's front line would be Jovic. But we will have to see what happens next summer. If Griezmann wants to sign for Barca, he will have to work to reconvince the Catalan club.
