After months of speculation regarding his future, it seems as though David de Gea will be staying at Manchester United. The club got out their checkbook and seem to have convinced the goalkeeper to stay by offering him a new multimillion pound deal.
Keeping de Gea around will prove not to be a cheap move, with the Spanish goalkeeper set to earn a whopping 390,000 Euros a week - a salary only topped at the club by Alexis Sánchez, who earns a baffling 450,000 Euros every week.
Breaking his new wage down, de Gea will earn around 20 million Euros a year, which also translates to an impressive 55,714 Euros a day.
Going further into details, the 28 year-old will 2,321 Euros an hour, 39 Euros a minute and 64 Cent a second - safe to say he won't be going hungry any time soon.
