Date set for postponed Serie A games

The Italian football federation has set a date for the matches that were missed following the death of Davide Astori. Following the defender's passing all matches on Sunday March 4th were postponed to be played at a later date.

Among these games was the Milan Derby between cross-city rivals Milan and Inter. The match had been due for the late kick off two weeks ago.

That match has now been scheduled for April 4th at 18:30 CET at San Siro.

Inter have been on the slide recently while Milan are rejuvenated under Gennaro Gattuso with Champions League qualification a real possibilty for them.

The two sides are five points apart in 5th and 6th in the league, and a win for either would seriously dent the other's hopes of qualifying for Europe's Premier Competition.

Serie did resume the week after Astori's death, with tributes coming in for the popular Italian defender up and down the country.
