Dani Carvajal wants to hang up his boots at Real Madrid

At the age of 30, many players are already thinking about the end of their career and where they would like to end it. Dani Carvajal is no exception.
In an interview with 'Movistar', the right-back admitted that he would like to hang up his boots at Real Madrid, where he spent most of his career and where he was trained.
"I still have many years left on my contract and I hope to be able to retire here. Being at Real Madrid is the best thing there is for a footballer, and I think the moment you leave the club must be one of the hardest. (...) I'd like the day I leave to be remembered as one of the best full-backs to ever play here. Time will give me some perspective on all that," he explained.
The Spanish international also revealed his secret for avoiding physical problems: "I completely eliminated gluten from my diet. I'm not intolerant to it, but it causes inflammation, and since then everything has changed," he explains, pointing out that he has only missed 10 days of competition since then due to a "muscular problem after the World Cup".
