Dani Alves marries model Joana Sanz in secret wedding

Former Juventus player Dani Alves has married his partner Joana Sanchez in a secret wedding ceremony in Ibiza, as he closes in on a move to Manchester City.

The couple married in a secret wedding ceremony, which was held as discreetly as possible. Manchester City are confident of signing Alves, despite interest from PSG.

Alves was expected to undergo a medical at City this week and sign a two-year deal, where he would be reunited with his former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola. 

Manchester City are desperately searching for replacements for Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy, who have signed for West Ham and Basakehir respectively. 

Previously, Manchester City targeted Kyle Walker, but they lost interest due to the defender's £50 million price tag.  

The Brazilian international won the Italian league last season with Juventus, he also collected six La Liga titles during his stay at Barcelona and won the Champions League three times.
