After goals from Yerry Mina and Radamel Falcao, Colombia were very much in the driving seat in the crunch game against Poland, but victory was sealed in minute 75.
James Rodriguez had performed very well on the night, providing the cross for the opening goal, and he was involved once again for the third. The Bayern Munich attacker played a fantastic through ball for Juan Cuadrado, curling it around the defence from his position by the halfway line on the left.
Cuadrado is known for his speed, and he raced onto the ball, finding himself with nobody but the goalkeeper in his path. The defence attempted to catch him, but he held strong, arriving in the box before powering a shot past the keeper to make it 0-3.
