After hanging up his boots aged 38, Peter Crouch has named the XI of the best players he's played with throughout his career in his column for 'The Daily Mail'.

Pepe Reina (Goalkeeper)

The two played together at Liverpool, where the striker was full of praise for Reina's kind personality.

Glen Johnson (right-back)

The two played together for Stoke City and England.

Ledley King (centre-back)

Crouch played with King at Tottenham, where the defender spent his whole career.

John Terry (centre-back)

Chelsea legend Terry was a teammate of Crouch in the England national team.

Ashley Cole (left-back)

Chelsea and Arsenal left-back Ashley Cole shared the pitch with Crouch for England.

Xabi Alonso (centre-midfielder)

Alonso's passing ability and calmness on the ball impressed Crouch at Liverpool.

Luka Modric (centre-midfielder)

Crouch played with Modric at Tottenham before the Croat sealed his big move to Real Madrid.

Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)

The midfield is completed by another legend of English football in Steven Gerrard, who enjoyed a good relationship with the tall striker on the pitch for both Liverpool and England.

Wayne Rooney (forward)

Crouch played with the United legend, who is now enjoying success in the MLS, in the England national team.

Gareth Bale (forward)

The 38 year-old included Bale in his team thanks to his incredible form when they played together at Tottenham.

Fernando Torres (forward)

Although he very much replaced Crouch as the focal point of Liverpool's attack, the former England international included the Spanish forward in his dream team.
