Cristiano Ronaldo was signed as a joke by... an eSports team!

It is still unclear what will happen to Cristiano Ronaldo's future. The striker has no intention of staying at Manchester United, while his manager, Erik ten Hag, wants to keep him for next season.

In recent hours, the Portuguese has been linked with Atletico Madrid, but the truth is that the 'Colchonero' team would not be in a position to sign the Portuguese because of his past at Real Madrid.

In the midst of all these rumours, 'CR7' was signed by a new eSports team. Through their social media, 'Case Esports', owned by player Casemiro, welcomed Ronaldo as a new signing for their team.

However, a few minutes later, the gaming team admitted that it was a joke and that the former Juventus player will not be working with the Esports team: "We were being playful and you believed it," said the official account.
