Cristiano Ronaldo's brace takes him to 916 goals

Cristiano Ronaldo is getting closer and closer to his infamous target to reach 1000 career goals. The Portuguese scored his 915th and 916th goal earlier today as bagged a brace in Al Nassr's clash against Damac in the Saudi Pro League.
He made no mistake from the penalty spot, opening the scoring after 17 minutes of play. Damac goalkeeper Al Bukhari did well to guess the direction of the shot, but it wasn't enough to stop Ronaldo from finding the back of the net.
With 11 minutes to go, the forward bagged his brace as he slotted in Boushal pass, sealing a 2-0 for the Middle Eastern side. His last 5 goals have come in the last 3 matches between club and national team, while for the season, he currently counts 20 goals and 4 assists.
The former Manchester United striker had reached 900 goals just last month, but is now only 84 goals away from the iconic milestone. That said, Ronaldo admitted earlier this month that he would be "fine" with not getting to the four-figure mark, as he revealed he wants to focus on the present and "enjoy the moment".
