Cristiano Ronaldo calls out 'disrespectful' journalist during heated interview

On Sunday, Portugal entered the match trailing 1-0 after the first leg in Copenhagen, but the team mounted a dramatic comeback, winning 5-2 after extra time to seal a 5-3 aggregate victory and secure a spot in the Nations League semi-finals.
The 40-year-old forward, who had missed a penalty earlier in the match, eventually found the back of the net at a crucial moment. Francisco Trincao's late brace further propelled Portugal to victory, ensuring Roberto Martinez's side will face host nation Germany in June.
Long before that, Ronaldo, clearly frustrated with the negativity surrounding the national team, expressed his discontent with some of the recent media coverage. "I feel like there's a lot of negativity around the national team," he said. "I've watched some of the press conferences over the last few days — I didn't like what I saw, I don't like it."
The Al-Nassr star was particularly irked when asked by a Portuguese journalist whether he was still capable of performing at the top level, responding sharply: "Some of the questions you've asked were just disrespectful."
Ronaldo then directed his frustration towards the journalist's body language, stating: "If you want answers from me, look me in the eyes when you ask. There's no point asking me something and then looking down at your computer. You'll have time for that later. If necessary, I will say it ten times."
Despite his earlier penalty miss, his goal and his leadership on the pitch were crucial in Portugal's dramatic turnaround, highlighting his ongoing importance to the team as they advance to the semi-finals.
