COVID-19 could prevent the vote of no confidence against Bartomeu

While waiting to see if the vote of no confidence against Josep Maria Bartomeu can take place on 1st and 2nd November, another problem has appeared on the horizon. 

The Director General of Sports of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Gerard Figueras, speaking to 'Radio Barcelona', admitted that he is not sure that the vote can be held with the coronavirus pandemic. 

"Ten days ago it was said that it could be held, but this issue could be reconsidered depending on the health conditions on the dates set by the club," said Figueras. 

In addition, Figueras said they are waiting for the club to present their plans in this regard, as well as the protocol to explain how they will carry out the vote and the influx of people.
