Real Madrid lost 1-0 at the Ciutat de Valencia. The three points went to Levante.
As is customary, after the match, the referee made his match report public. In it, Hernandez Hernandez noted down a complaint made by Thibaut Courtois, the Real Madrid keeper.
"In the 48th minute, I was informed by Courtois, the away goalkeeper, that a laser pen was being shone in his eyes;" Hernandez wrote.
That said, it was just a one off. "Once the stadium manager was informed about the incident, it did not happen again," the referee continued.
If it is confirmed to be the case, Levante could be fined even though it just happened once, they may not even get punished.
Real Madrid were not very happy with Hernandez Hernandez's decisions. Ramos, after the match, spoke about "predetermined decisions" and "arrogance" from the referee.
