Courtois, Benzema and Militao registered for CWC despite not travelling

Real Madrid are already in Morocco to face Al Ahly in the Club World Cup. The Spanish side come into the competition as favourites like Flamengo, who won the last Copa Libertadores.

However, Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti travelled without three key players out injured: Eder Militao, Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois. 

Nevertheless, the Spanish side covered their backs. According to 'Relevo', they decided to register them in case they recover for the Club World Cup final. Although if Madrid were to reach the final, it seems that they will not be recovered yet.

A ticket to the final of the Club World Cup would mean a boost for Madrid. Even so, the Italian manager does not want to take any risks as they will soon face Liverpool in the UCL.
