After everything that was spoken about in relation to the Atalanta v Valencia match and the spreading of the coronavirus in Italy and Spain tracing from that match, another Champions League match has been put in the hot seat.
Namely, 'Le Parisien' has cited the match between PSG and Borussia Dortmund on 11th March as the outbreak of the epidemic in the French capital.
And how can a match behind closed doors help to spread the disease? Well, despite gatherings of more than 1000 people being banned for several days in France, up to 4000 PSG fans joined together outside the stadium and tried to cheer on the team with their shouts from outside.
Several people told 'Le Parisien' what happened and even assured that the Police gave permission for the fans to join together. "Looking at it now, it was really risky. If we had known what was going to happen next, we would have stayed home," explained one fan, to whom another fan replied: "We didn't worry, there were also a lot of people in the shopping centres and the rally had police approval. I don't regret it because I will never forget that day".
Romain Mabille, one of the leading members of the PSG ultras, confirmed that several fans have tested positive for COVID-19, although it isn't known if they were infected that night, before or after. You have to remember that the players of the team also celebrated with the fans after the match.
