According to a report on 'Tiempo de Juego', 'Los Blancos' are not planning on cutting short James' stay in Bavaria as had been suggested in recent weeks.
It is claimed that Madrid are continuing to explore other options, meaning that Bayern retain the option of turning the Colombian's loan into a permanent deal for €40m between now and the end of the season.
The departures of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo led to suggestions that James could return to the Bernabeu, having originally left in search of more minutes.
However, 'COPE' insists that bringing the Colombia international back is not in Real Madrid's thinking as they back the likes of Marco Asensio, Isco etc to perform.
Meanwhile, the Bavarians are still undecided as to whether they should sign the 27-year-old permanently or not, particularly given his love for Madrid.
