Getafe ended their 2019-20 campaign after being knocked out of the Europa League v Inter Milan. Now they will have to plan ahead to next season, possibly without Jose Bordalas.
'Cadena COPE's Gemma Santos reports that the coach believes it is time for him to move on and that is what he has told the Getafe president, Angel Torres, in a meeting this Thursday.
The idea of this meeting was to talk about his future and that of the squad. The coach made his intentions clear that he wants to leave Getafe after four seasons.
Nevertheless, Bordalas was already thinking about this last season. He thought he had done the most he could, but he could not find a bigger club to move to so he stayed at Getafe.
Now the situation could be repeated. Bordalas was on Valencia's agenda, but they could not reach an agreement and 'Los Che' went for Javi Gracia. Bordalas has two years left on his contract, but has no offers at the moment.
