Edin Dzeko continues to hold a major position in European football. After a summer where he was linked with Juventus, he continued at Roma and this weekend scored a double against Benevento.
The latest rumours are that Roma intend to tie down the striker with an extra year's contract, until 2023, and a salary of 7.5 million euros. But this will not prevent some clubs from trying to get him in January.
According to 'Il Messaggero', Antonio Conte has asked the Inter Milan management to try to sign Edin Dzeko in the next winter market.
The Inter coach sees Dzeko as the ideal complement to his strikers. At 34, he has not stopped scoring goals and his contribution to the game with his back to goal would make him a great addition to the striker formed by Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martínez.
At the moment, the '9' has a contract until 2022. Dzeko has been playing since the summer of 2015, when he left Manchester City, and has scored 108 goals in 225 matches at Roma.
