The Reds have confirmed the signing of a much-needed defender, finalising a deal for Estonian defender Ragnar Klavan.
Defenders Joel Matip and Mahmadou Sakho are both currently injured while Martin Skrtel and Kolo Toure both left the club.
This has left Dejan Lovren as the only recognised senior centre-half in the Liverpool ranks and has led to Klopp swooping for the man he knows well from his time in the Bundesliga.
Klavan played 140 times for Augsburg, scoring four goals for the Bundesliga outfit.
