Confirmed lineups for AC Milan vs Bologna

AC Milan and Bologna kickstart matchday 36 of Serie A on Friday evening at the San Siro before they meet again on Wednesday for the Italian Cup showpiece at the Olimpico. And with only three games to go in the Italian top flight, a lot is at stake for both sides.

Bologna's (62) Champions League hopes took a hit after their 1-1 draw with Juventus left them in seventh and one point away from the final qualifying spot, currently held by Lazio (63). Meanwhile, ninth-placed Milan (57) can reignite their European bid with a win on home soil.

Sergio Conceicao's men claimed back-to-back wins in their last two league outings away at Venezia and Genoa, while visitors Bologna have only won one out of their last five games - a last-gasp 1-0 win over reigning champions and Champions League finalists Inter Milan.

The hosts are without Fofana, Bondo and Sottil due to injuries, while forward Leao is suspended with a yellow card accumulation. While Bologna boss Vincenzo Italiano counts the absences of Ndoye, Odgaard, Holm and Pedrola due to injury.
