He won over the Etihad Stadium crowd from the very first day. Aguero joined the club at just 23 in the 2011-12 season.
Since then, the Argentina striker, who has returned to the national team just like Messi, has scored 243 goals and given 62 assists in the 350 matches he has played for City.
"It was difficult to imagine spending so much time at the club when I started... but as time went by, it became clearer to me that this is exactly where I wanted to be," Aguero told Man City's official channels.
Aguero admitted he has felt "very comfortable" from the first day. "This feeling has only strengthened with time," the Argentinian striker explained. "Coming to Man City was one of the best decisions I've taken in my life."
The striker also talked about the rivalry with Man Utd. "I’ve grown quite fond of Manchester over the years. It’s a city that experiences football with a great intensity and, in spite of the local rivalry, the relationship with our neighbours has always been friendly and cordial towards me." he concluded.
