Colón announce Brian Fernández signing

Brian Fernández confessed on more than one occasion that he was a Club Atlético Colón fan, so their paths seemed destined to cross.

The Argentine was without a club, as Portland Timbers, his ex-club, decided to release him due to extra sporting reasons.

Faced with drug problems, the MLS outfit offered him a rehabilitation programme in November, but the 25-year-old attacker failed to comply and they got rid of him.

Finally, Brian Fernández will have a new chance to demonstrate his worth. Colón made the signing official and he has already completed the first training session with the rest of his teammates.
