According to information revealed by the 'Mirror', Manchester City plan to seriously extend Sergio Agüero's contract by a year.
He currently has a deal that runs until 30th June 2021, so he would remain at the Etihad for at least the next two years.
This news will reassure an Agüero who got seriously injured at the end of June. He was operated on for his ruptured left meniscus and it's still not known if he will make the Champions League match against Real Madrid.
The Argentine forward is the top goalscorer in City's history. In the 370 official matches he has played for them, Kun has scored 254 goals. This season he has got 23 in 32 matches so that possible renewal has been earned.
