City's president explains Brahim's departure

In the past winter market, Real Madrid surprised everyone with the signing of Brahim Diaz, who in the minutes he has had with Zinedine Zidane seems to have earned a place for next season. The young player is bursting with talent. 

Brahim left City, where he grew up and established himself as a player. In the club, according to the words of its president, Khaldoon Al Mubarak,  they do not hold any grudges. "I don't see that as negative, it's positive. Brahim has developed in City, I was hoping he would follow, but he made a decision and it's very understandable," he explained.

Al Mubarak said: "It's normal when a Spanish player gets the go-ahead from Real Madrid. And you have to understand, it's hard, but you know. There are no bad feelings, he's gone and he's given us good value".

Brahim, who was light in the darkness of Madrid at the end of the season, left a "very good commercial value in Manchester City", which was a "victory for him and, hopefully, a victory for Real Madrid".
