Manchester City have reportedly moved ahead of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus to sign Palmeiras forward Gabriel Jesus.
Earlier this month, the 19-year-old's agent revealed that the German, Italian and Spanish champions were interested in the striker, who has scored 13 goals in 23 appearances for his club this season.
The Times are now reporting that Man City have moved into pole position to sign Jesus, after offering the Brazilian club £16.7m, whilst Barcelona are the only other club to actually make an offer, of £14.9m.
'Gabriel Jesus' is a name which is probably going to do the rounds a lot this summer. Will he become a success in Europe, wherever he ends up?
