City consider Bruno Fernandes to substitute Silva

All the evidence suggests that David Silva's time at Manchester City could be coming to a close. The Spanish international has declared on multiple occasions that he wants to fulfil his contract, but he isn't predicting staying any longer.

Retiring in Las Palmas is Silva's dream, however, he is 33 years old and wants to squeeze as much as he can out of his last years a the top level. The possibilities for Silva's future are opening up, as Vissel Kobe wants to convince him to join his project together with Iniesta and David Villa.

Bruno Fernandes is a player who is coming on leaps and bounds in European football. He is 24 years old and, despite being a midfielder, has 31 goals this season for Sporting.

Guardiola's City are prepared to offer 50 million euros for the Portuguese striker. Marlos Moreno would also be included in the deal, a condition that could convince the Lisbon team.

This signing seems all the more necessary given that Ilkay Gundogan could take Silva's path and not renew his contract, which ends in June 2020. United are also interested, so it will be a tough fight to get this gem of Portuguese football.
