City pulled off a big surprise a few weeks ago with the signing of Haaland. The Sky Blues were ahead of all the big clubs in Europe and signed the Norwegian striker, who signs until 2027.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Gerardo Seoane spoke to Marca Claro and gave his thoughts on the striker's move to Guardiola's side. "He should succeed in any team he goes to, because he is 21 years old, he has power, he is hungry, everything a player needs, it will be something nice to see because City's style of play is not exactly what Haaland has been proposing the last few years".
"If he is able to settle in and the team adapts to him, apart from being a team that can aspire to everything, the player could improve even more having practically the best coach in the world (Guardiola) by his side," he added.
Meanwhile, the Bayer coach referred to the upcoming World Cup and the teams he sees as the best for Qatar. "I think the favourites in the end are the same as always, they are the big nations that are on top of everyone. I think it's going to be important how each team adapts to the climate in Qatar because it's going to be difficult for everyone. Being half Swiss, half Spanish, I choose Spain as favourites because they have more chances," he said.
