Denis Zakaria is having a good year at Borussia Mönchengladbach. That has led several of the best teams on the continent to put his name on their agendas.
This is the case of Jose Mourinho's Roma and Ronald Koeman's Barcelona. But they are not the only teams who want the midfielder, as Manchester City have joined the bidding.
Zakaria's contract with 'Gladbach expires in 2022, and he has yet to renew, which means he will be free to sign for the club of his choice in January.
That is where City come in, according to the 'Manchester Evening News', who want the Swiss player as a replacement for Fernandinho, who will finish the season aged 37.
So, there are just over two months left for Zakaria to choose a new destination. What is already clear to him is that top-level clubs are keen to sign him.
