Arsenal have moved quickly in the market. Zinchenko was on their shortlist, on Friday they began negotiations with City to bring him to the Emirates Stadium and it looks like they have all but tied him down.
Market expert Fabrizio Romano claims there is already an agreement in principle between City and Arsenal for the player. The Gunners would be willing to pay 35 million euros for him.
It now remains for Zinchenko to agree to Arsenal's proposal. Personal terms are currently being negotiated.
In order to sign for Arsenal, according to the source quoted above, the salary and the length of the contract offered by Arsenal will be key. His signing could be completed shortly once these two issues have been agreed.
City would get 35 million euros more for their coffers after selling Gabril Jesus and Raheem Sterling. The 'exit operation' is going well at the Etihad Stadium.
