In recent hours, there have been rumours over a possible agreement between Tottenham and Man City for striker Harry Kane. 'The Sun' reported that the deal could be done for 160 million pounds.
Now, 'The Athletic' has learnt that this news has caught both clubs by surprise and that Harry Kane's situation has remained unchanged.
Daniel Levy's Tottenham are not going to give in so easily, especially because the English footballer renewed his contract in 2018 for six seasons.
That means Spurs can demand that they will only begin talks if they agree to pay at least 140 million pounds. Despite the rumours, City are not willing to pay that amount.
City, however, will wait to see whether they can reach an agreement for around 90 million pounds. What is clear that nothing has changed up to now.
