After the 25-year.old centre-back expressed his desire to remain a Chelsea player for one more year, the Chelsea board has already iniciated negociations to extend his contract.
The 'Daily Mail' claims that the Danish international already had a couple of meetings with the board to extend his contract, at least until 30th June 2023.
Christensen is still a one-club-man as he has only played for Chelsea, where he was part of the academy and made his proffesional debut in the Premier League. In total he has played 131 offical matches for the Blues.
