Balotelli appears to be the only striker further down the pecking order at Liverpool than Christian Benteke, but the Italian is struggling to find new employers.
No concrete offers have been made for the former Manchester City and AC Milan man, despite reported interest from China and Ajax.
However, Balotelli's saviour may come in the form of Campedelli's Chievo. The Serie A side's president showed his admiration for Balotelli, and claimed that signing the forward would be a "dream".
"Dreaming does not cost anything," Campedelli told 'Tuttosport'.
"I like Balotelli, the player can hardly be questioned. Yet, I also like the guy. I think too many times he has ended up at gunpoint".
