Farewells are always, as a rule, painful. Even more so when there are two of them and those two are big names in your football team. Giorgio Chiellini and Paulo Dybala will end their time at Juventus at the end of this season, with a combined total of 24 seasons in the 'Bianconeri' colours.
What can we say about Chiellini? Captain and emblem of the Turin side. He landed from Fiorentina in 05-06 at the age of 21 and with a promising future ahead of him. 14 seasons later and with an enviable amount of trophies under his arm, the Italian will say goodbye this Monday to his home, the Juventus Stadium.
He will do so against Lazio, whom he has beaten 21 times, drawn four times and lost three times. The recent European Championship winner with Italy hopes to end his career with a win in front of his home fans, who are already preparing a tribute to him for his years at the Turin club.
Another player who will also end his Juve career is Paulo Dybala. The Argentine has less weight in the squad and is less loved by the fans than Chiellini, but the '10' will leave a total of seven seasons in a team that he was able to take to the Champions League final in 2015 at the age of 21. Only Luis Enrique's Barça deprived him of lifting the UCL.
The captain and the '10' are enjoying their last days as 'Bianconeri'. While the former could go to MLS to give his last touches as a professional, the Argentine, at 28, is still at the age to give his maximum performance and there are several teams that have asked for him, as is the case of Roma and Inter, among others.
