Some apparently inoffensive statements made by Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen confirm that Chelsea will wait for April 11 with great interest, with that being the day the Blues will have their transfer ban either rescinded or upheld.
Accordign to what Christensen said, the London side will not be selling any of their players if the transfer sanction is not postponed or cancelled. Therefore, Eden Hazard, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christensen himself, likely candidates to leave the club, will continue with the Blues for another season.
It would particularly compromise the position of Hazard and Hudson-Odoi, who could leave the club for free in the summer of 2020 when their contracts expire. It would also mean Ruben Loftus-Cheek, N'Golo Kanté, Tiemoué Bakayoko, Danny Drinkwater, Kurt Zouma and Michy Batshuayi would stay at Stamford Bridge.
