TEAM NEWS:
Chelsea: Maurizio Sarri is expected to recall his big guns after ringing the changes in the Europa League during the week. Eden Hazard played 62 minutes in the narrow win over BATE in Belarus to prove his fitness after a back injury and is in contention to start this one, though Cesc Fabregas and Ruben Loftus-Cheek face a race to be fit due to illness and a back problem respectively.
Everton: The visitors will be without loanee defender Kurt Zouma against his parent club, meaning that summer signing Yerry Mina could be in line for his long-awaited league debut. Phil Jagielka and James McCarthy could also be involved in some capacity after overcoming problems, but right-back Jonjoe Kenny and star man Richarlison both look unlikely to feature. The Brazilian missed training on Thursday and was only able to take part in a light session on Friday, meaning that Cenk Tosun could come in to take his place in attack.
WHO IS SAYING WHAT?
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri on Ross Barkley:
"At the beginning, in the first month, Ross was in trouble. But then he started to improve in every training session, in every match.
"I am surprised how he has adapted if I think back to the first month, but not if I think of the last two months.
"At the moment, from a tactical point of view, Ross is a step ahead of Loftus-Cheek because Ruben in the first part of the season had two or three little injuries.
"I like Ross very much. He is a complete player. He has physical qualities, he is fast. Technically he's very good.
"He kicks well with his left foot and his right. He's improving in moving the ball. He has become mentally quicker and he is improving tactically. He is on the way to becoming a very important midfielder, not only for us but also for England."
Everton boss Marco Silva on his side's away form:
I don't have doubts that we will improve to the end of the season.
"The first two away we played with 10 players and almost won. After we played Arsenal and Manchester United. They were more effective than us.
"We had a very good win against Leicester and we were competitive in all of them. I am sure we will improve this form."
