Aaron Ramsdale has been ousted as Arsenal's first-choice goalkeeper since the arrival of David Raya from Brentford and has played just twice since the September international break.
Spanish manager Mikel Arteta has not spoken to Ramsdale about the issue but warned against a January move in a quest to find first-team football. "First of all my door is open to speak about any player. We just want the best for our players and we try to do," he told reporters.
As a result, the 25-year-old could look for a new loan move in the January transfer window and several top teams are interested in his services. According to 'talkSPORT', Chelsea are the main contenders to negotiate with Arsenal for his transfer.
The Blues loaned Kepa Arrizabalaga to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window and their second-choice goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is injured. They will rely on Dorde Petrovic until the Spaniard recovers. However, they want to avoid problems and sign Ramsdale for the rest of the season.
