Young Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo has been offered to Besiktas on a season-long loan.
The Nigerian spent last season on loan at Kasimpasa and impressed when playing for the Turkish side who finished in 12th place in the Super Lig.
It is understood that Chelsea would like the defender to gain some experience at a bigger club before trying to stake a claim for a regular place at Stamford Bridge.
Besiktas are in the hunt for two central defenders and have already been linked with a move for Liverpool centre-half Martin Skrtel.
Should Omeruo join Besiktas, it would give him the opportunity to play Champions League football which his parent club Chelsea missed out on.
