Chelsea got back to winning ways in pre-season on Friday night. They managed to beat Udinese 1-3 after Arsenal scored four goals against them in the previous match. After the match between the English and the Italians was over, the two sides decided to play another friendly match on Saturday morning.
The game was played behind closed doors and was far more informal than the match played hours earlier. The first half was dominated by Thomas Tuchel's side, who went into the break with a narrow lead thanks to a goal from Loftus-Cheek.
The second half was different with the entry of new players onto the pitch. Hakim Ziyech, from the penalty spot, scored the second and last goal of the game.
Chelsea are back to their best ahead of the start of the Premier League season and will also be able to forget recent disappointments, such as the defeat against Arsenal and the penalty shoot-out loss to Charlotte FC in the MLS.
