A video circulated across social media in which several Chelsea fans call Mohamed Salah player "terrorist". Liverpool issued a statement condemning these events.
"In addition, we are working directly with Chelsea Football Club. We thank them for their condemnation and the commitment to act urgently to identify those responsible," said Liverpool in a statement.
As 'AS' points out, Chelsea banned the fans from entering the stadium in Prague for the first leg of the Europa League clash.
Olivier Giroud was one of those who denounced the incident: "I don't think these people should belong to Chelsea. We all condemn this kind of thing and we are one hundred percent with Mo Salah. I don't think it should happen in today's day and age".
