156 million euros. That's the amount that Chelsea are willing to invest in Dortmund's Erling Haaland.
However, until now, Dortmund have stood firm and have rejected all of the approaches from the Blues. This has left those at Stamford Bridge on the rapid hunt for a plan B of the same calibre.
Robert Lewandowski has emerged as the alternative to Haaland. According to 'Sport Bild', Chelsea have reportedly put themselves in contact with the striker's agent, Pini Zahavi, to find out if he woud be willing to take an adventure to Stamford Bridge. This alternative would certainly be a cheaper one for the Blues. 'The Sun' estimates that the signing could be completed for around 58 million euros.
In any case, Tuchel is clear on the matter - the priority is Erling Haaland. If their 156-million euro offer is enough to convince Dortmund to change their minds, they will go for him. If not, they will approach Bayern with an offer for Lewandowski.
